Barry and I are so blessed to have parents that love our children so much. I am so glad that our children have grandparents who live nearby and who care about and love them so much. Barry’s mom came over last weekend just to cheer me on in my triathlon and hang out with the girls. She will come over often to babysit just so Barry and I can get some quality alone time.
A few days ago, Barry’s dad and his wife called and asked if Emma and Ansley could spend the night with them on Friday night just to spend some time with them and take them to the beach. The girls had a great time and are already asking when they can go back to stay with Pop and Jo!
While the girls were there, my parents kept Jackson so that Barry and I were able to go out to eat at one of our favorite restaurants, Carrabbas (read all about our dinner here). My mom and dad will often come over just to spend time with the kids, also.
I love that we have parents that love our kids so much. I never lived near my grandparents growing up and I consider it a huge blessing that my kids have all of their grandparents nearby to love on them often. Papa, Nana, Granna, Pop and Jo…we love you guys! Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedules for our kids!
